FALLON, NV – The Nevada Women’s Team Roping Association has wrapped up another great year. The year-end banquet was held at Larry Miller’s Sandwinds Restaurant and Sports Bar in Fallon on Dec. 2. Prizes were awarded, as well as door prizes, and a silent auction was held.

Officers for 2017 were President Nora Hunt-Lee; Vice President Marisa Julian; Secretary-Treasurer Carole Rogers; directors Sandy Kiel, Blake Portman, Tammy Lee, Adena Gonzalez and Joann Capurro. Everyone worked hard to make it a great year!

The champions in each league receive a Cactus saddle; reserve won a Heel-O-Matic Bones heading dummy and Bones Hox for the heeling league; third place won RTIC coolers; fourth place Cactus breast collars and a Charlie One Horse gift certificate; fifth place won a Cactus headstall and picture frame; sixth place Cactus headstall and Sandwinds gift certificate; seventh place Cactus headstall and picture frame; and eighth and ninth place, bell boots and Charlie One Horse certificates.

Tylie Norcutt won the Youth award and received a Cactus halter. Bonnie Felton was named most improved roper and won a mule tape halter made by Marisa Julian. Heather Boegle was 2017 rookie and also won a mule tape halter.
