LIVERMORE, CA – The beautiful Basso’s Arena was host to the World Series Team Roping on Mother’s Day weekend, May 12-13. Normally a warm weekend, this year the ropers had some windy, but sunny weather to contend with. Once again Steve Simons brought a great set of steers for the ropers.

The #8 Qualifier turned out to be the best paying roping. (although the #9 and #10 ropings each paid over $5,000 per man). The #8 was won by Rigo Estrella and Davis Grupe who stopped the clock on four steers in a time of 43.73 to win $5,790 each.
