In 1968, Bob Feist decided that team ropers needed some kind of publication to keep them informed of upcoming events as well as results. Because of this need, Bob published the first issue of Ropers Sports News, a monthly publication that is still the "bible" of team ropers all over the United States as well as many foreign countries.
Our subscribers encompass 48 states, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, and Brazil. With a readership of over 20,000 per month, Ropers Sports News has grown to be among the leaders of team roping publications in the United States. Sometimes we are mistaken as only a West Coast orientated newspaper, that is a misconception. Our horizons are broad and we give equal coverage to all that submit ads or stories. We have not lost sight of our purpose, as we strive to bring ropers and barrel racers the most up-to-date industry information.
