Nancy Sue Lopez died Feb. 20 in an automobile accident. Nancy dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She was a very patient, creative, and selfless wife, mother and friend.
Besides her children, her greatest love in life was her grandchildren, Johnathon, Courtney, Tyler, Tanner, Payton and Gavin. Her calendar was full of dates of rodeos well in advance.
She also leaves behind her best friend and husband of 51 years, Joe Lopez; her children, Jay and Kelly Lopez, Brad and Heidi Lopez, Pat and Nannette Gavin, Diane Lopez and Matthew Spears; her loving mother, Lucille Garside; brothers, Jim and Raydean Garside, Roger and Zonda Garside; sister, Betty and Cy Spears; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins who she treasured and loved very much.
Visitation was Feb. 26 at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel in Tulare, and funeral services were held Feb. 27 at Bethel Assembly of God Church, with burial following at North Tulare Cemetery.
