It was a cold New Year’s weekend, but the ropers who braved the cold and came to rope Dec. 30, 2012 to Jan. 1, 2013, at B-Bar Arena chose a great way to start the year. There were a lot of awards given to the high point ACTRA members over the weekend.
High point ropers in each category received a Cactus saddle; 2nd high point a Gist buckle; 3rd high point a Denise VonTour bronc halter; 4th, Cactus breast collar; and 5th, a Cactus nylon bronc halter. The winners and categories were as follows:
