20th Annual Trailer Drawing At The BFI

 By Lisa Duncan, WTRA Vice-President

The WTRA will once again hold a trailer drawing during the BFI (Bob Feist Invitational) on Monday, June 18th in Reno, Nev. This is the 20th year that the association has held the drawing. The price of the drawing tickets will once again be $10. Tickets are available from WTRA members.
This year’s first prize will be a 2012 Circle J Three Horse Slant Trailer with a tack room. A cash buyout is also available. Runner-up prize is a four-day, three-night stay at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and third is a Sunny D Crystal Wear item made and donated by Donna Mahoney.
In order to help defray the cost of the trailer, WTRA is once again selling signage to go on the trailer. This is a great way for your company/business to be recognized. Price per sign is $250.
The WTRA also wants to recognize Jim Pfeffer of Ropes Galore for his support of the WTRA. He is once again allowing the girls to sell tickets at his booth during the BFI. For all your rope, western tack and apparel needs, give him a call at 760-788-5599.
WTRA is an association open to female residents of California. Membership dues are $60 and any officer or director would be happy to help you join and answer any questions. The League divisions make it possible for a woman to be competitive with peers of similar ability. Also, the Rookie category lets first time members compete among themselves for awards.

WTRA league directors for 2012 are: A League, Karen Dias; B League, Kristine Baker; C League, Pat Block; and Rookie, Diane Schieltz.
