Rope For MS Chairperson

I would like to thank everyone who participated and continue to support my 18th annual Rope For MS. I know how many other roping events are out there and I wanted to say I appreciate your dedication and loyalty to my personal cause.

The roping had 496 teams. It was smaller than expected, but a beautiful day.

I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all my volunteers; John who puts all my ducks in a row (mainly Rope For MS’s ducks) pre, during and after.  You have been a tremendous help and are eternally appreciated. Robert, Mark, Donna, Colette, Lana, Royce Ann and Dave Foltz thank you for your continued support throughout the years. Thank you Grace, Julia and Paige for selling raffle tickets and working the auction. Devon Owen you always work wonders heading up the auction and are entertaining at the same time. I am lucky to have you in my corner! Thank you Dan Bergstrom for taking pictures, they always turn out great.  Thank you to the office staff: Sue Gorham, Jessica Long, Brianna Gorham and flagger Robert Reed.

My dear friend Linda Davis you are the best and I thank you for your announcing services. I was so glad I got to meet your mother, she is a jewel too.

There’s so much more I planned on writing, but I am at the Big Rock Resort in June Lake and it is so windy I can’t think straight. Well, I can think straight, but it is very distracting, the wind that is. If I missed anyone, as I’m sure I could have, I’m so sorry. Thank you to everyone for making and keeping this a good event. At this very moment, I am so thankful to have my sisters, Lana and RoyceAnn, for helping with this article.

I look forward to seeing everyone next year at the 19th Annual Rope For MS Saturday May 24th, 2014. Mark your calendars.
