Harold “Freddy” Rice, 83, a respected leader in the ranching and cattle industry, passed away peacefully on Maui on Friday, January 5, 2018, surrounded by his family. Freddy was born in 1934 and was raised on his family’s ranch in Kaonoulu, Maui. He was proud to be a fifth-generation paniolo and a missionary family descendant of William Harrison and Mary Sophia Hyde Rice.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Bob A. Robinson of Hagerman, Idaho, a ProRodeo Hall of Fame steer wrestler, passed away Dec. 16 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. He was 84.

 Leo Woodbury, 1938-2017  

BUFFALO, WY – Leo Angus Woodbury, 79-year-old Johnson County rancher, passed away quietly October 19 at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo. A celebration of his life was held October 25 at the Brian and Rita Long Ranch at 924 Trabing Road (formerly the Woodbury Ranch). A private family interment was held later. Donations in Leo’s memory may be made to the Paws for Purple Hearts in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.

SUN CITY, CA – Benjamin Henry Bates passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on October 4, 2017. He was born Sept. 4, 1933 in Texas to the late Herman C. Bates Sr. and Mattie Lou Thompson Anglin.
