Over the past month I received a few emails, surprisingly asking for all the same thing. Wanting just a simple meatball and spaghetti sauce recipe. Something that is not only an Italian classic but a dish that everyone loves! This is great for those family dinner nights, or a dinner for two. Let your Italian side out and make something magnifico!
Also, I wanted to say that I’ve been blown away with the emails and comments I’ve received. Keep sending in those emails! Thank you all!

 Italian Spaghetti With Meatballs

Meatballs:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
dash of garlic powder
Sauce:
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
3 cups water
2 teaspoons oregano
2 teaspoons parsley flakes
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon basil
1/4 cup onion, minced
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Meatballs: Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Shape into one-and-a-half-inch meatballs. Brown lightly in a heavy skillet, turning carefully to brown on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside.
Sauce: Mix all ingredients in a saucepan; add cooked meatballs and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
Cook and drain your pasta of choice. Mix together and enjoy! Also, you can use the leftovers the next day to make a meatball sandwich for lunch!
